Cassano all’Ionio to host San Lorenzo del Vallo Motoraduno

Cassano all’Ionio will serve as a stop for the 14th edition of the San Lorenzo del Vallo Motoraduno on Saturday, August 29. The event, which attracts motorcycle enthusiasts from across Calabria and beyond, features a tourist tour starting at 18:00 from San Lorenzo del Vallo.

The 2026 edition is dedicated to the memory of Gaetano Aita, a recently deceased young member of the Moto Club. Upon arriving in Cassano all’Ionio, participants will be welcomed to explore the historic center and its cultural heritage.

Vice Mayor Giuseppe La Regina promoted the collaboration, viewing the event as an opportunity to use motorcycle tourism to promote the territory and its history. Ignazio Lamerata, president of the Moto Club San Lorenzo del Vallo, emphasized that the rally aims to connect different communities and use motorcycling as a tool for regional promotion.
