Cassems Hospital marks 10 years of high-complexity care in Mato Grosso do Sul

The Cassems Hospital in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, is celebrating 10 years of operation as a technological and high-complexity medical hub. Over the past decade, the facility has performed more than three million procedures, including nearly 100,000 surgeries.

According to Cassems President Ricardo Ayache, the hospital has integrated advanced medical technologies such as robotic surgery, bone marrow transplants, and ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) to provide specialized care within the region. The institution aims to reduce the need for patients in the Midwest to travel to other major Brazilian medical centers for complex treatments.
