Cassette Beasts 2002 announced for March 2027 release

Publisher Raw Fury and developer Bytten Studio have announced that the creature-collection role-playing game, Cassette Beasts 2002, is scheduled for release in March 2027. The title will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.

Set in Nodnol, a nostalgic reimagining of early 2000s London, the game features a turn-based combat system where players can record and transform into over 250 unique creatures. A central mechanic involves a fusion system that allows for more than 50,000 different animated combinations.

The adventure includes 12 companions with individual stories and missions, allowing players to build friendships or romantic relationships to strengthen combat abilities. The game will also feature multiplayer capabilities, including trading and cooperative missions.
