Cassilândia to host first regional robotics tournament

Cassilândia will host the region's first Interclass Robotics Tournament on September 26, 2026, at the Adriele Barbosa Silva Municipal School. Themed “Challenges of Industry,” the free event is linked to the FIRST LEGO League (FLL), an international educational robotics competition for youth aged 9 to 16.

In partnership with SESI/MS, the tournament focuses on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) and teamwork. The event will feature robot challenges, technical pit areas, competitive rounds, and an awards ceremony. This initiative aims to prepare local teams for the state FLL championship in Campo Grande this November, with the potential to qualify for the 2027 National Championship.
