Cassino announces 3.7 million euro redevelopment for Piazza Labriola

In Cassino, a 3.7 million euro project has been proposed for the redevelopment of Piazza Labriola. The plan, designed by Giacomo Bianchi, aims to transform the central square—a key hub for local professionals and nightlife—by incorporating 40% green space to address issues such as deteriorated paving, insufficient lighting, and a lack of shade.

While the administration under Mayor Enzo Salera views this as a vital urban regeneration effort to follow previous successes in the city center, the project has faced local scrutiny regarding how the plan has been communicated to the public.
