Cast announced for film adaptation of ‘40-made ni Shitai 10 no Koto’

The cast for the upcoming film ‘Gekijoban 40-made ni Shitai 10 no Koto’ has been announced. The movie is a cinematic adaptation of the TV Tokyo drama that aired in 2025, scheduled for release on January 22, 2027.

Shunsuke Kazama will reprise his role as Suzume Tojo, a supervisor approaching 40, while Kohei Shoji returns as her subordinate, Keiji Tanaka. The story follows the couple as they navigate life after fulfilling a list of ten goals created by Suzume.

Notable additions to the cast include voice actress Kotono Mitsuishi, who will appear in live-action as Reiko Hanamura, the president of Hanamura Wedding. Mitsuishi also provides the voice for Suzume, a stuffed animal character from the original drama. Other cast members include Shinji Takeda as Reiko’s husband, Atsushi Hashimoto as Suzume’s ex-boyfriend, and Mito Yukimi as Mitsuki Shirakawa.
