Cast of ‘Phia truoc la bau troi’ reflects on lives 25 years later

Twenty-five years after the release of the popular 2001 television series ‘Phia truoc la bau troi’ (The Sky Ahead), directed by Do Thanh Hai, the lives and careers of its cast members have seen significant changes.

Actress Kieu Anh, who played the character Nhung, has experienced both professional success and personal challenges. Originally a dance student, she gained fame through the series and later participated in various projects. In 2019, she was honored as a Meritorious Artist and serves as a choreographer and actress at the Vietnam Music and Dance Theater. After a period of absence from the screen, she has recently returned to acting with roles in productions such as ‘Ho so ca sau’ and ‘Gia dinh minh vui bat thinh linh.’

On a personal level, Kieu Anh has navigated life as a single mother after separating from her partner during her first pregnancy. Despite the difficulties, she maintains a co-parenting relationship with her former partner.
