Cast of the film Juice marks 30 years since release

More than 30 years after its 1992 release, the film ‘Juice’ continues to be recognized for its portrayal of hip hop culture and the lives of four friends in Harlem. Directed by Ernest R. Dickerson, the movie served as a significant career milestone for several actors.

Tupac Shakur, who played the antagonist Roland ‘Bishop’ Lawson, went on to star in films such as ‘Poetic Justice’ and ‘Gang Related’ before his death in 1996. Omar Epps, who portrayed Quincy ‘Q’ Powell, transitioned into a successful career in both film and television, appearing in ‘Love & Basketball’ and series such as ‘House’ and ‘This Is Us’. Khalil Kain, who played Raheem Porter, has continued to work in acting and directing, with credits including ‘Living Single’ and ‘For Colored Girls’.
