Castelferretti announces 3 million euro school renovation

Mayor Stefania Signorini has announced a major renovation project for the Montessori primary school and its attached gymnasium in Castelferretti. The project, totaling approximately 2.995 million euros, is funded through resources allocated for earthquake damage recovery following the 2022 seismic events. The funding was approved by the commissioner structure led by Guido Castelli.

The renovation will cover the school building on via Vittorio Veneto, which was originally constructed in the 1960s, and the 640-square-meter gymnasium. Design work has already been commissioned, and construction is expected to last roughly 18 months. During her visit to the school, the Mayor also emphasized the importance of students respecting public spaces and communal property.
