Castellalto administration faces political crisis as majority fractures

A political crisis has emerged in Castellalto as the majority supporting Mayor Rocci faces a significant fracture. Four key members of the administration—including the city council president, the deputy mayor, an assessor, and a councilor—have formed a new group, publicly distancing themselves from the current leadership.

The departing officials have criticized the administration, citing “unacceptable behaviors characterized by arrogance.” They further alleged that individuals without a public mandate are attempting to “dictate the political agenda from the shadows,” a claim they argue is incompatible with transparent public administration.
