Castellammare del Golfo hosts Colori nel Vento kite festival

The “Colori nel Vento” kite festival is taking place at Plaia beach in Castellammare del Golfo from September 10 to 13. Produced by CentroMedia under the artistic direction of Ignazio Billera, the event features 24 kite flyers representing twelve different cities, including Milan, Rome, Naples, and Nice.

The festival showcases various displays, including 30-meter dragons, long-tailed kites, and acrobatic four-line kites. A highlight of the event is the night flight scheduled for Saturday, September 12, at 20:30, featuring illuminated kites that appear like lanterns against the coast. Additionally, the event includes kite-building workshops for adults and children.
