Castellammare di Stabia holds talks on Fincantieri shipyard future

The extraordinary commission of Castellammare di Stabia met with trade union representatives from FIM-CISL, FIOM-CGIL, and UILM-UIL to discuss the industrial and employment prospects of the Fincantieri shipyard.

The meeting focused on the shipyard's strategic role for the city and the need for a constructive dialogue between the company, the Campania Region, the Port Authority, unions, and the municipal administration. Participants agreed on the necessity of establishing a roadmap for future meetings to address organizational issues, labor guarantees, and regional development planning related to the port.
