Reports suggest that Paolo Negri, associated with Maximall Pompeii, has been involved in concrete discussions regarding the recovery of the ruins. The property is owned by the Demanio marittimo, and any potential development would likely proceed through the Special Economic Zone (ZES) framework. This follows recent safety ordinances issued by commissioner Dario Caputo after structural collapses at the site.
