Castellers perform high-difficulty structures during Santa Úrsula festivities

During the Santa Úrsula festivities, human tower groups (castellers) in Valls and Igualada performed highly complex structures, though the event was marked by several collapses.

In Valls, the Colla Vella dels Xiquets successfully completed the 4 de 10 with folre i manilles and the 3 de 9 without folre. The Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls managed to complete the 4 de 9 without folre, which was the only fully completed tower for them during the session, though they also attempted a pilar de 7 that collapsed.

In Igualada, the Castellers de Vilafranca performed a gamma extra structure, successfully completing the 4 de 9 with folre i l’agulla, the 4 de 9 with folre, the 3 de 9 with folre, and the pilar de 7 with folre. The Moixiganguers de Igualada also completed a strong session, successfully performing the 4 de 9 with folre and the 3 de 9 with folre.
