Castelli unveils ultra‑light cycling kit for extreme heat

Italian brand Castelli introduced a new ultra‑light cycling kit aimed at riders facing very hot conditions. The Castelli Corretto Jersey is a tightly‑fitted, ultra‑breathable road maillot made from extremely thin, lightweight fabrics that feel almost weightless and promote rapid heat evacuation. A distinctive rounded neck opening adds extra ventilation while giving the jersey a unique look.

Developed with WorldTour athletes, the kit also includes the Climber's A/C Jersey and the Superleggera Bibshort. Both pieces use 3‑D mesh fabrics engineered through CFD simulations to maximise airflow and cooling. The jersey incorporates a front 3‑D Flow fabric panel and a rear StradaPro3D panel for sweat removal, while the bibshort offers high muscle support, full opacity and a lightweight construction. The apparel provides UPF 13 protection, blocking more than 90% of UV rays, and features race‑grade aerodynamic cuts, YKK® Vislon® zippers and multiple rear pockets.
