Castellón photography contest sees doubled participation
The fifth edition of the Naturalitza't photography contest, organized by the Diputación Provincial de Castellón, has seen a significant increase in engagement, recording 111 participants. This figure doubles the number of contestants from the previous year, which had 56 participants.
José María Andrés, the provincial deputy for Natural Environment, noted that the increased participation reflects public interest in showcasing and valuing the natural wealth of the province. He highlighted the diverse landscapes of Castellón, ranging from coastal areas and marshes to forests and mountains.
A jury will evaluate the entries based on technical quality, creativity, artistic value, and the relevance of the natural environment depicted. The competition includes three main awards and nine honorable mentions, with the first-place winner receiving 1,000 euros and the second-place winner receiving 700 euros.
