Castello Carlo V in Lecce resumes Open Kids workshops

The Open Kids workshop series is resuming at Castello Carlo V in Lecce starting Sunday, September 13. These Sunday afternoon sessions are designed for children and families, featuring a new theme each month.

September’s theme, “Opora Greca,” focuses on Greek mythology. The schedule includes a session on September 13 dedicated to Mount Olympus and its deities, followed by a sculpture workshop on September 20, and a session on Greek theater and masks on September 27. Future themes for October and November will cover Roman culture and prehistory.

Additionally, the exhibition “La materia dei sogni. Mondi e visioni dall’opera di Shakespeare” remains open in the castle's underground areas until January 10, 2027. This interdisciplinary project features theater, visual arts, and installations based on the works of William Shakespeare.
