Castello Imperiali Mayor Antonello Denuzzo Faces No‑Confidence Motion

A motion of no‑confidence against Mayor Antonello Denuzzo and his entire municipal team has gathered nine signatures in Castello Imperiali. The motion still requires one more signature to be submitted to the city council, and a total of 13 signatures will be needed to actually oust the mayor.

The request comes amid a crisis in the local Democratic Party (PD) after the resignation of regional party leader Alessandra Latartara. Council President Maurizio Bruno travelled to Bari to meet regional President Antonio Decaro, seeking support for a potential mayoral candidacy and aiming to stabilize the party’s position in the city.
