Castelo do Pontal leisure complex under construction in Rio de Janeiro

The Castelo do Pontal, a new leisure complex, is currently under construction in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Rio de Janeiro. Located on Estrada do Pontal, the project occupies a 6,011-square-meter plot and is expected to be completed by July 2027.

The 3,000-square-meter structure will feature a themed park, event halls for weddings and graduations, and dedicated spaces for various party formats, including children's celebrations. The complex will also include a restaurant and a bistro designed to operate independently from scheduled events.

Architectural highlights include towers, walls, a large gate, and a main hall with double-height ceilings, a mezzanine, and a curved staircase. The facility will provide five suites for event participants, such as brides and bridesmaids. There are also plans for potential future expansion into hospitality, including chalets in the site's green and mountainous areas. The site will be open for both private and corporate events, as well as general visitation.
