Castelpetroso to host conference on sport, health, and social responsibility

The Centro di Servizio per il Volontariato (CSV) Molise will host a conference titled ‘Benessere e Stile di vita. Dallo sport alla donazione del sangue: prevenzione, salute e responsabilità sociale’ on Friday, October 16, in Castelpetroso. Held at the Hotel La Fonte dell’Astore with the patronage of the Molise Region, the event aims to explore the connection between physical activity, blood donation, and social cohesion.

The program includes the presentation of books by CSV Molise President Gian Franco Massaro and contributions from various academic and institutional figures. Fabio Pigozzi, president of the International Federation of Sports Medicine, will discuss the role of physical activity in health prevention. Additionally, Emanuele Isidori will address the educational and ethical dimensions of blood donation, while Daniela Grignoli from the University of Molise will examine how sport and donation contribute to social welfare and community cohesion.
