Castelraimondo to host event celebrating women's historical contributions

The municipality of Castelraimondo has announced a cultural event titled ‘Stories, commitment, culture: women who marked the past and inspire the future,’ scheduled for October 10. The initiative, supported by the Marche Region's Commission for Equal Opportunities, aims to recognize the historical and social contributions of women.

The event will feature two specific presentations. Dr. Silvia Alessandrini Calisti will discuss the volume ‘#leviedelledonnemarchigiane: non solo toponomastica,’ a project focused on rediscovering prominent women in the Marche region through female toponymy. Additionally, Professor Maria Pierandrei will present ‘Women of culture. Lives, works and commitment,’ exploring the impact of various female figures on society.
