Various local incidents and public safety measures are being reported across several Italian regions.

In Caserta, residents of the Parco Cerasole neighborhood are questioning the cause of recent tree cutting on via Iaselli, following a history of maintenance issues and previous attempts at unauthorized pruning. Similarly, in Castelvetrano, a municipal councilor has raised concerns regarding the drastic pruning of an adult tree in Piazza Ruggero Settimo, which the municipality claims was necessary for safety after the tree partially split.

Law enforcement activities include the arrest of a 52-year-old man in Catania for allegedly stealing mail from residential mailboxes.
