Castertech launches TechPlus brake drum for heavy‑duty trucks in Brazil

Castertech, a Brazilian leader in wheel and brake‑system solutions for OEMs and the aftermarket, announced the launch of its new TechPlus brake drum. The product features a patented design and exclusive engineering aimed at heavy commercial vehicles, improving thermal and structural efficiency, reducing the risk of cracks and deformation, and extending the service life of the brake assembly.

According to executive director Marcelo Kuver, the TechPlus drum is intended to lower operational costs by cutting maintenance and fuel consumption, increase payload efficiency, and boost safety on demanding routes. Castertech, founded in 2006 and part of Randoncorp, highlights the launch as part of its commitment to engineering innovation, logistical efficiency and environmental sustainability.
