Castiglione del Lago to host 2028 FEI Endurance World Championship

Castiglione del Lago, located in the Umbria region of Italy, has been selected to host the 2028 FEI Endurance World Championship. The decision was made by the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) during its board meeting on September 1.

The Italian bid, presented by a committee including sistemaeventi.it srl, Italia Endurance ASD, and the Italian Equestrian Sports Federation (FISE), prevailed over competing applications from Qatar, the United States, Spain, Romania, and Slovakia. This marks the first time the championship will be held in Umbria.

The event is expected to receive significant institutional support from the Italian government, CONI, the Umbria Region, and local authorities, serving as a platform to promote the territory and Italian equestrian traditions.
