A 44-year-old man, Ranvir Singh, was killed in a road accident in Castiglione delle Stiviere, Mantova, on Friday, August 21, 2026. The incident occurred on via Europa while Singh was approaching his parked vehicle after running an errand.

According to reports, Singh was struck by a Jeep Compass driven by a 49-year-old man. The impact was severe, causing the vehicle to hit a nearby pizzeria fence. Singh's wife and two children, aged 8 and 10, were inside the victim's car and witnessed the collision. Despite immediate intervention from emergency medical services and an air ambulance, Singh could not be resuscitated.
