Castiglione d'Orcia hosts Alba e Tramonto festival
The Alba e Tramonto festival in Castiglione d'Orcia will feature a series of musical, theatrical, and poetic events from August 16 to August 18, utilizing various scenic locations throughout the Val d'Orcia.
On August 16, Fabrizio Bai will perform a concert in Piazza Unità d'Italia, Campiglia d'Orcia, blending jazz, Latin music, blues, and folk styles centered around the guitar.
On August 17, the Rocca di Tentennano will host 'Viaggio nelle parole di Santa Caterina,' an original production by Paola Lambardi. The performance focuses on the letters and writings of Saint Catherine of Siena, referencing her historical 1377 mission of peace at the Rocca.
The festival concludes on August 18 at Parco Fosso Bianco in Bagni San Filippo with 'Tenera è la notte,' a poetry reading featuring students from Sienese theater schools.
