Castilla-La Mancha allocates 10 million euros for rural roads
The Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Rural Development in Castilla-La Mancha has opened a call for subsidies totaling 10 million euros to improve and maintain rural roads. The funding is intended to facilitate the maintenance of infrastructure and improve access to agricultural and livestock farms.
Municipalities have 45 days to submit applications electronically. Grants will range between 8,000 and 14,000 euros per municipality, with an additional 6,500 euros available for each Lower Territorial Scope Entity (EATIM) included in the request. Priority will be given to municipalities located in areas classified as experiencing extreme, intense, or at-risk depopulation.
The subsidies cover 100% of eligible costs for investments in established rural roads, including repairs necessitated by adverse weather conditions. These funds are compatible with other forms of aid.
