Chillarón de Cuenca school begins second construction phase

The Government of Castilla-La Mancha has launched the second phase of construction for the Chillarón de Cuenca school, part of the ‘Elena Fortún’ Rural Grouped Center (CRA). This phase involves an investment of 2.9 million euros and is expected to take approximately ten months to complete.

The project, executed by the public company Tragsa, will involve the construction of a new building connected to the existing facilities. The new infrastructure will include four primary education classrooms, a multipurpose room, a school dining hall, and an outdoor sports court. This work follows an initial 1.2 million euro investment that established the center’s infant education classrooms and tutoring areas. Total regional investment for the Chillarón de Cuenca school now exceeds four million euros.
