Castilla-La Mancha announces €500 celiac assistance and record €23.8 million IRPF grant program

The Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha has opened a new subsidy for people diagnosed with celiac disease. Eligible individuals can receive €500 per person, with a maximum of €1,000 per household, and the total budget for the scheme is set at €400,000, potentially expandable to €500,000. Applications began on 3 August, and applicants must be registered residents of the region and meet income criteria based on the public income indicator.

In the same fiscal year, the regional government’s IRPF 2026 grant call received a record 791 project proposals from 336 third‑sector entities. The programme will allocate €23.8 million—the highest amount since the region assumed management of the funds—supporting initiatives in social inclusion, disability, elderly care, youth, health, equality and volunteer work across Castilla‑La Mancha.
