Castilla-La Mancha backs local festivals in Villanueva de la Fuente and El Torno

The president of the Diputación of Ciudad Real, Valverde, attended the Festival Taurino Virgen del Carmen in Villanueva de la Fuente, praising the town’s effort to revive the celebration and reiterating the provincial government's financial and institutional support for bullfighting events across the province.

In El Torno, regional delegate Blanca Fernández participated in the CLM Living Rural Festival, a free program aimed at revitalising rural communities. She highlighted the initiative as part of the region’s strategy against depopulation, noting that it brings cultural and leisure activities to smaller municipalities and encourages local participation.
