Castilla-La Mancha launches 120 million euro credit instrument for agrifood sector

The Government of Castilla-La Mancha and various financial institutions have established the Centralized Portfolio Guarantee Management Financial Instrument (IFGC-G) to support the region's primary sector. This initiative aims to facilitate access to credit for the modernization and improvement of agricultural and livestock holdings, as well as the agrifood industry.

While the initial fund consists of 12 million euros, the mechanism is designed to leverage more than 120 million euros in total financing. The program targets approximately 750 operations, offering up to 200,000 euros for agricultural or livestock holdings and up to 1.3 million euros for agrifood industries. The instrument provides an 80% guarantee at no cost to the borrower, allowing for loans that can cover 100% of investments with terms of up to 20 years and a 4-year grace period.

Eurocaja Rural has signed a strategic agreement to participate in this program, reinforcing its commitment to the territory's development. The agreement was signed by Eurocaja Rural Director General Víctor Manuel Martín López and the Regional Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, and Rural Development, Julián Martínez Lizán.
