Castilla-La Mancha launches AI initiative for rural development

Eleven Rural Development Groups across the five provinces of Castilla-La Mancha have launched a cooperation project titled ‘Application of Artificial Intelligence to territorial development from the Rural Development Groups of Castilla-La Mancha’. Coordinated by Fadeta, the initiative aims to integrate artificial intelligence into the daily activities of rural populations, businesses, associations, and local town halls to enhance competitiveness and efficiency.

The project will span one year and includes 40 practical sessions, ten specialized programs, and five in-person workshops. Key components involve providing advisory platforms and a weekly live advisory channel to explain practical AI applications. The initiative seeks to support rural territories through various stages, from initial introduction to the implementation of AI in business management and local administration.
