Castilla-La Mancha launches new Cartographic Center Portal
The Government of Castilla-La Mancha has launched a new Cartographic Center Portal through the Ministry of Public Works. The platform serves as a centralized digital space for the region's public cartography and strategic projects related to territorial management and knowledge.
Daniel Corredor, Director of the Cartographic Center and Secretary General of the Ministry of Public Works, stated that the tool is designed to provide citizens, professionals, companies, researchers, and administrations with access to all public geographic information managed by the Autonomous Community. The initiative aims to increase transparency and bring the specialized work of the Cartographic Center closer to society.
According to Corredor, this cartographic data is essential for planning and managing various public services, including urban planning, infrastructure construction, environmental protection, emergency management, and territorial organization.
