Castilla-La Mancha melon and watermelon prices show mixed trends

During the fifth session of the Melon and Watermelon Price Board held in Tomelloso, Castilla-La Mancha, watermelon prices saw a decrease while melon prices remained stable.

First-category seedless black watermelon and white watermelon both dropped by four cents per kilogram, moving from a range of 0.24–0.26 euros to 0.20–0.22 euros. Other watermelon categories, including second-category varieties and pollinators, did not receive quotations during this session.

Melon prices held steady across all categories. Extra category melon remains priced between 0.28 and 0.30 euros per kilogram, first category between 0.23 and 0.25 euros, and second category between 0.14 and 0.16 euros. The IGP Melón de La Mancha also remained without a quotation.
