Castilla-La Mancha offers €6,000 publishing grants for women writers and new gender‑perspective library scholarship
The Castilla‑La Mancha regional government approved a subsidy scheme that can provide up to €6,000 per text to support the editing, design, printing and digital publication of works written by women authors. Eligible applicants are adult Spanish citizens residing in the region, including asylum seekers, and the works must be original, unpublished and in Spanish.
In parallel, the Institute of Women launched a 12‑month scholarship for professionals in library and documentation studies to specialise in a gender perspective. The programme offers a total funding of €17,352.24, with a gross monthly stipend of €1,424. Applications are accepted online for a limited period. Both initiatives aim to promote feminist and gender‑equality content in the cultural and information sectors of Castilla‑La Mancha.
