Castilla-La Mancha Parliament to debate spending ceiling and housing law

The Cortes of Castilla-La Mancha will hold a plenary session this Thursday to debate and vote on the regional government’s non-financial spending ceiling. This decision is a necessary prerequisite for the development and subsequent processing of the General Budgets of the Junta.

Additionally, the session will address a housing law proposal from the Socialist Group aimed at mobilizing land, promoting housing, and simplifying urban planning procedures. Other agenda items include debates on water resources—specifically regarding well regularization and water supply—as well as social benefits and education. The session will conclude with government control, including an appearance by the Minister of Education, Culture, and Sports, Amador Pastor, regarding the start of the 2026/27 school year.
