Entre Ríos launches economic aid package for tourism sector FAST-MOVING
The government of Entre Ríos has introduced a comprehensive economic package to support the tourism sector and mitigate declining profitability caused by macroeconomic challenges and climate variations.
Key measures include a 20% reduction in the Gross Income tax rate via decree, with plans to seek legislative parity with the industrial sector. To reduce operational costs, the province is implementing energy subsidies for hotels and thermal complexes, offering electricity rate reductions between 4% and 15% during the low season.
To stimulate domestic tourism, a financing program via the Sidecreer card will cover 50% of costs for internal travelers, with a cap of $250,000 to $500,000 per person depending on the specific program. Additionally, the province is offering energy reconversion credits through the CFI with a maximum amount of $400 million pesos, a 20% annual interest rate, and a one-year grace period.
