Castilla-La Mancha PP criticizes rising public healthcare waiting lists

Leaders of the People's Party (PP) in Castilla-La Mancha have criticized the regional government's management of public healthcare, citing a significant increase in medical waiting lists.

Paco Núñez, president of the PP-CLM, reported that 99,315 patients are currently waiting for a consultation, diagnostic test, or operation. He noted that surgical waiting lists have reached 40,390 people, representing a 10.6 percent increase compared to the previous month. Núñez argued that the current administration under Emiliano García-Page has seen a continuous deterioration of services over the last eleven years.

Juan Antonio Moreno, the party's health coordinator, echoed these concerns, stating that surgical waiting lists have grown by 7,484 patients since García-Page took office. The PP leadership claims that despite having access to necessary budgets and resources, the regional government has failed to implement effective policies to reduce these delays.
