Castilla-La Mancha PSOE opposes new regional financing model

The PSOE of Castilla-La Mancha has announced its intention to oppose the proposed new model for regional financing. Sergio Gutiérrez, the regional party's Secretary of Organization and a national deputy, stated that the party will fight the proposal through parliamentary processes, both internally and within the Congress of Deputies.

Gutiérrez argued that the current model proposed by the Fiscal and Financial Policy Council does not sufficiently benefit Castilla-La Mancha or promote social cohesion. He emphasized the need for greater state solidarity, wealth redistribution, and resources to bridge the gap between rural and urban communities. The regional leadership maintains that a more progressive model is required to ensure territorial equality and support for rural areas.
