Castilla-La Mancha to host conference on scientific evidence in healthcare

The IV Conference on the Implementation of Scientific Evidence for Excellence in Care will take place on September 29 at the Emilio Gavira Auditorium Theater in Alcázar de San Juan, Castilla-La Mancha. Organized by BPSO Host Castilla-La Mancha, the event is aimed at healthcare professionals from the Castilla-La Mancha Health Service (SESCAM), as well as public and private entities and the university sector.

The initiative is part of a regional government strategy to develop a care model based on scientific evidence, quality, and safety. The goal is to strengthen the role of nursing professionals and translate research into clinical practice to improve population health outcomes. Montserrat Hernández, General Director of Care and Quality at SESCAM, noted that the meeting aims to systematically incorporate the best available scientific knowledge into daily professional decision-making to ensure safer and more homogeneous care.

The program includes discussions on nursing leadership and clinical practice based on evidence, featuring speakers such as Carmen Sarabia Cobo, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Cantabria.
