Castilla y León allocates 160,000 euros to digitalize Spanish language teaching
The Junta de Castilla y León has allocated 161,332 euros to support Spanish as a foreign language through digital modernization. The investment aims to enhance the competitiveness of the linguistic tourism sector by integrating advanced digital tools, interactive learning systems, and online training platforms into educational methodologies.
Following a public call for proposals, eight projects were selected for funding. The province of Salamanca received the highest number of grants with six projects, while Burgos was awarded two projects to support technological initiatives. These funds are intended to attract international students and strengthen the regional economy through specialized employment and digital education.
