Castilla y León begins physical tests for Local Police recruitment
The unified selection process for Local Police in Castilla y León has entered its physical testing phase. A total of 1,015 candidates have been admitted to compete for positions through both mobility and free entry tracks.
Physical aptitude tests are scheduled to take place on September 15, 16, 17, and 23 at the La Victoria sports complex in Valladolid. The recruitment process, managed by the Civil Protection and Emergencies Agency, aims to improve coordination among local police forces and reduce public spending through administrative collaboration.
Following the physical tests, the schedule includes medical examinations in October and psychological aptitude tests in November. For those in the free entry track, knowledge-based exams—consisting of a multiple-choice questionnaire and a practical case study—are slated for October, with medical evaluations concluding in December 2026.
