Castilla y León confirms 136 cases of school bullying and cyberbullying

The regional government of Castilla y León has confirmed 136 cases of school bullying and cyberbullying for the 2025-2026 academic year. According to official data, 112 cases were confirmed as traditional school bullying and 24 cases were confirmed as cyberbullying.

To manage these incidents, the regional Ministry of Education utilizes the CONV information system, which allows for the registration and analysis of potential conflicts. During the current period, a total of 1,108 protocols were opened following the detection of possible bullying incidents. The administration noted that these figures reflect both early detection and the rapid activation of protection mechanisms.

Education Counselor María Pardo recently met with the Salmantine Association against Bullying and Cyberbullying (ASCBYC) and the Spanish Federation of Associations against School Bullying (FEDECAE) to coordinate prevention and protection measures. The regional government maintains a specific action protocol established in 2017, which includes stages for detection, immediate intervention, victim protection, and personalized follow-up in all publicly funded centers.
