Castilla y León court acquits Luli Pampín tribute show promoter

The High Court of Justice of Castilla y León has upheld the acquittal of a promoter who organized a children's show titled ‘Tributo Musical a Luli Pampín’ in León in 2023.

The Civil and Criminal Chamber dismissed an appeal filed by the representatives of Carolina and the company Luli Pampín S.L., which had been supported by the Public Prosecutor's Office. The court ruled that there was no evidence proving the use of protected material, nor that the promoter had prior knowledge of the registered trademarks.

The legal dispute originated from a performance held on September 22, 2023, at the Teatro Nuevo Recreo Industrial. The court found that it had not been proven that original works, choreographies, scripts, or creative elements linked to the artist were reproduced or exploited during the event.
