Castilla y León tourism gala honors professionals while Guadalajara province launches heritage tour

Alberto Díaz Pico, the regional minister for Culture, Tourism and Sport, closed the II Gala of Hospitality and Tourism in León, recognizing nine professionals and nine establishments for their contribution to social sustainability in Castilla y León. The ceremony highlighted employment, training, generational renewal and local producer support as key to the sector’s future.

In Guadalajara, the provincial council partnered with the Provincial Federation of Tourism and Hospitality to hold the second "Conoce tu Provincia" visit, bringing members of the Provincial Women’s Federation to explore the historic Villa Ducal of Pastrana. The guided tour showcased landmarks such as the Ducal Palace and the Collegiate Church, aiming to boost local cultural awareness and interior tourism.

Both events underscore regional efforts in Spain to promote tourism, preserve heritage, and strengthen local economies through targeted programmes and recognitions.
