Castilla‑La Mancha allocates €2.4 million to modernize forest sector
The regional government of Castilla‑La Mancha has published the regulatory basis for the “Inversiones forestales productivas” aid line, earmarking €2.4 million to support modernization, mechanisation and competitiveness of the local forest sector. The programme, part of the National Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy (PAC) 2023‑2027, will fund investments in machinery, vehicles, installations and equipment for the harvesting, processing and marketing of forest products.
Eligibility is limited to private forest owners, community property groups, municipalities and SMEs operating in the region. The call for applications is expected to be launched in the last quarter of 2026, with the aim of increasing profitability, fostering rural development and promoting sustainable forest management.
