Castillo de Malpica de Tajo to host cultural heritage event

The Diputación de Toledo is featuring the Castillo de Malpica de Tajo as part of its ‘12 meses, 12 castillos’ initiative this September. The program aims to promote the historical, cultural, and tourist heritage of the province.

Scheduled for Saturday, September 19, the event offers a tourist experience for 300 people, divided into two sessions of 150 participants each. The morning session begins at 10:30 AM with a theatrical tour of the castle surroundings and local streets conducted by the Atenea de Mora company. This is followed by a tasting of typical Toledo products and local wines at the Town Hall square, featuring catering by Mesón Las Ruedas and music by the group ‘Carretera y Manta’.

A second session will begin at 7:00 PM, also featuring a theatrical tour and local gastronomy.
