Castle Biosciences opens new 55,000-square-foot laboratory in Scottsdale

Castle Biosciences, Inc. has opened a new 55,000-square-foot laboratory and office facility in Scottsdale, Arizona. The expansion is intended to increase the company’s capacity to handle growing volumes of molecular diagnostic tests and support long-term operational growth in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

The new site features upgraded HVAC, IT, and security infrastructure, along with backup systems designed to provide complete operational power redundancy. The facility is located within the Perimeter Center business park and includes employee amenities such as a fitness center, an onsite café, and access to walking trails.

As of June 30, 2026, Castle Biosciences employs over 1,000 people across the United States, with approximately 220 employees located in the greater Phoenix area. The company specializes in molecular tests for dermatologic and gastroenterological diseases, including products such as DecisionDx-Melanoma, DecisionDx-SCC, and TissueCypher.
