Castle Connolly Launches 2026 Top Dentists List

Castle Connolly, a unit of Everyday Health Group, released its inaugural 2026 Top Dentists list, highlighting the top 10% of U.S. dentists. The list was compiled from more than 200,000 practicing dentists and includes over 22,000 peer‑nominated professionals across all 50 states and 12 dental specialties.

The launch comes as American consumers face rising out‑of‑pocket dental costs and a significant shift in dental practice insurance participation. A recent American Dental Association study indicated that 29% of dentists dropped insurance networks in the past year, and 55% cite insurance‑related issues as their primary challenge. "We're seeing a massive shift across the dental care landscape, from evolving insurance participation to increasing consumer responsibility for care decisions," said Steve Leibforth, Managing Director of Castle Connolly. He added that the new list provides an independent resource to help patients make informed choices.
