Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse demo released for multiple platforms

A free demo for the Metroidvania title ‘Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse’ is now available for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Developed by Evil Empire and Motion Twin, the game is set in 1499 Paris and follows Rose Belmont, the daughter of Trevor Belmont, as she battles monsters and vampires. The demo allows players to experience the first section of the game in the Parisian sewers, concluding with a boss fight.

Players can carry their demo progress over to the full version if they use the same account and system. The game is scheduled for release on October 15. For collectors, physical editions including a ‘Midnight Edition’ will be available for PS5 and Nintendo Switch, featuring additional in-game bonuses, digital art galleries, and soundtracks.

Pre-orders are currently available on Amazon for €39.99. The gameplay features dynamic whip mechanics and an ‘Arcana’ system that allows for combat customization through various weapons and relics.
